Take all your plans and break them. Bend the lines until they blend into each other like red stripes of candy. Tangle up your life the way noodles do in boiling water and then, add spices. Peel off the drafts of the perfect life you drew on the wall. Nothing you did before matters like now. Nothing you’ll do after matters as much as now. Stop waiting for the moment that will change you; you won’t change. You are who you are for all the great and terrible things you hold, accept it and move on. Stop worrying about sounding stupid; believe that your words will ring someone’s truth. So take the microphone and get up on stage, even if the only place you have to sing is the karaoke bar. Raise your hand even if you are in doubt. Especially if you are in doubt. Enjoy your sadness but look for happiness; they coexist. Stop minding the pebbles in the sand, remember that the more you walk barefoot, the softer your skin will be.
